  • About the Opportunity

DeLaval has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Supply Chain Analyst to join their Oceania team in Hamilton, NZ. 

The supply chain analyst’s main goal is to increase profitability for the organisation on a global basis. The Supply Chain Analyst will focus on ways to improve the supply chain: align existing systems and processes to global standards; develop and implement network solutions that optimize performance, identify risks and opportunities and support the defining of processes that will make the organisations operations more efficient. The Supply chain analyst will keep detailed records of their findings at all times and provide regular updates to staffs and management on existing projects and suggestions for improvements where necessary.

The Supply chain analyst must have strong problem solving and planning skills and good attention to detail. They must be able to work as part of a team, as the role will usually require them to collaborate with larger teams on various projects. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are equally important for the same reason.

 The Supply Chain Analyst must liaise effectively with a number of internal and external stakeholders, therefore excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build effective networks are a pre-requisite.

  To be considered, you'll have

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in either Supply Chain or Business Management
  • Relevant analyst experience
  • Use of leading edge ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Strong, proven Information technology Skills
  • Ability to build effective networks
  • Relevant dairy industry experience is preferred, but not essential.
